On November 5, 2022, Aviator Zone Academy was awarded The Kitty Hawk Award, for excellence in flight training, by the Federal Aviation Administration.

 

The “MEGA” event (Miami Executive General Aviation Safety Expo & Fly-In) is an event that took place in Signature Flight Support at Miami Executive Airport to discuss topics such as runway safety, construction status annual operations recap, seasonal traffic preparations, Q&A opportunities with ATC, UAS operations, and class B/C/D airspace changes, as well as to give the Recognitions & Appreciations to the parties involved. This event invited flight schools, Civil Air Patrol, stakeholders, service providers, aerospace colleagues, and UAS operators, among others.

 

This Award is given by the Federal Aviation Administration and Tamiami Air Traffic Control Tower. As the award states, “In recognition of, and appreciation for, your Technical Expertise, Professionalism, and many outstanding academic contributions in the promotion and advancement of tomorrow’s aviators and the aeronautical community”.
